The Board of Directors of the Center for Technological Development and Innovation, E.P.E (CDTI), in its meeting held on 04/27/2023, approved its participation in the research and development project titled "TECHNICAL TUBULAR FABRICS FOR THE PROTECTION OF ELECTRICAL WIRING, OPTICAL FIBER CABLES, AND BUSBARS" through the granting of a partially refundable aid.

RELATS, S.A.U. will develop multifunctional protective sleeves composed of multiple layers using textile bases, capable of providing different types of protections including thermal protection, dielectric protection, fire protection, rodent protection, and resistance to chemical agents that could degrade the technical properties of the elements inside.

The project will be carried out at the facilities in Caldes de Montbui. The project execution period is from 2022 to 2024 with a fundable budget of €648,984.00.
